About Us
We are leading manufacturers and distributors of a range of on-site equipment through our brands, ArcGen Hilta, SMC, Alcon pumps and TW Pressure Washers. We have bases in the West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Scotland and we supply lighting towers, generators, water pumps and pressure washers for a range of industries from petro-chemical to quarrying and mining. We have a reputation for quality products and more importantly, a first class service.
Who we are
ArcGen was founded in 1973 and has developed an enviable reputation for providing high quality products with dedicated sales and aftersales service.
In 2006 ArcGen was acquired by Morris & Co., a long established business with strong entrepreneurial vision and a portfolio of companies across a range of business sectors.
ArcGen acquired Hilta Plant, a leading manufacturer and importer of water pumps and pressure washers and in March 2008 ArcGen Hilta was launched. Further expansion in 2010, lead to the acquisition of lighting tower manufacturer SMC Light & Power Ltd based in Lincolnshire.
Through our brands, ArcGen Hilta and SMC, we continue to build and strengthen our quality product and service reputation.
ArcGen Hilta was voted Best Place to Work in the construction industry in 2009, and we take pride in the development of our team. The Contract Journal awards received a record number of entries and ArcGen Hilta was awarded the Gold award.
